1) To act as a positive force in defining the direction of emergency medical services and the profession of the membership by providing representation for pre-hospital emergency care personnel to professional community and government entities and to provide information and advice related to the delivery of pre-hospital emergency medical services to such groups. 2) To promote public support and recognition for the contributions, capabilities and needs of pre-hospital emergency care personnel. 3) To foster better working relationships between pre-hospital personnel and other emergency services personnel.
